The Special Operations Administrator is responsible for accurately preparing and processing orders per customer specifications. This may include picking of product, special kitting, palletization, and processing of staging requests.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Pick items listed on customer order.
  • Follow instructions provided by customer, including but not limited to: palletization, kitting of products, special packaging requirements, banding of freight for shipment, building shock pallets.
  • Provide update on order completion status To management and internal customers.
  • Utilize a forklift or pallet-jack to move product through-out the warehouse.
  • Maintain necessary documentation associated with orders.
  • Research and resolve issues related to orders. Inform management of order issues and/or customer complaints.

Responsibilities

  • Complete projects and tasks assigned by management.
  • Individuals in this position are constantly standing and/or walking. Frequent lifting is required, as well as some stooping, kneeling and crouching. The general schedule for this position is from 9:00am - 11:00pm based on location and shift.
  • Overtime is to be expected and in some cases required. In addition, a rotation of one Saturday 8:00am - 5:00pm in every two weeks will be required. One Sunday per year may also be required.
  • Demonstrate ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of force rarely (0-12%% of the workday). The team lift system must be utilized for loads weighing more than 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrate ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds of force occasionally (0-33% of the workday), and 51-75 pounds rarely (0-12% of the workday).
  • Demonstrate ability to perform eight or more hours of standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping and carrying products in combination at any given time.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as weather fluctuates, noise from conveyors and forklifts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Analytical skills and the ability to solve problems
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
