The Sales Support Supervisor is responsible for individual and team productivity, and serves as a leader within the sales organization. To achieve this, the individual will work on developing the skills of their direct reports and strategic project management.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop an effective and efficient team through hiring and training new coworkers
  • Develop and coach a diverse group of direct reports
  • Identify and implement projects needed to improve sales productivity and efficiencies
  • Creating an environment that models the CDW Way
  • Communicate with stakeholders on key initiatives
  • Conduct interviews for potential new hires
  • Conduct semiannual reviews for direct reports through the PMP program and assist direct reports with career development
  • Effectively manage direct reports
  • Set clear expectations for direct and indirect reports
  • Monitor performance and assist with problem solving
  • Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements for team
  • Execute on assignments in the form of initiatives/objectives by determining the best course of action and how to best utilize resources
  • Serve as key business partner to multiple levels of sales leaders

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Attend regular meetings with management team to determine progress of specific sales operations tasks
  • Perform disciplinary counseling and terminations
  • Travel as needed between remote/and or satellite offices
  • Develop and Manage other Special projects
  • Ensure stability and productivity of Account Manager Sales Assistant Program (AMSA)
  • Direct and coach AMSA Program participants as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3 years supervisory experience with direct reports

  • Proficient knowledge of Excel
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong work ethic
  • Capable of building effective relationships at multiple levels

  • Experience managing remote coworkers
