The Senior Credit Analyst researches, analyzes, and releases credit orders for accounts determined to be high risk or over their credit limit. This role analyzes financial statements, does web-based research, determines credit worthiness, assigns, maintains and monitors appropriate credit limits, and releases orders. The Senior Credit Analyst serves as a team leader and subject matter expert for other team members.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Analyze financial statements to determine increase eligibility in a customer’s credit line. 
  • Conduct calls with customer’s finance managers to discuss financial statements and results. 
  • Maintain and monitor appropriateness of customer credit limits. 
  • Field calls from Sales Managers and Team Leaders on high risk credit issues. 
  • Assist in the New Accounts process as needed. 
  • Review and monitor credit exposure and pending credit reports (ie. pipeline report). 
  • Ensures workflow is continuously moving. 
  • Support Sales team and CDW partners on a daily basis, and during period end closings.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience in Credit or Finance; OR 
  • High School Diploma and 7 years of experience in Credit or Finance 

Required Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and creative problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in reviewing financial statements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders including Senior Leadership, customers and vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced knowledge of Excel.
