The Manager / Senior Manager will report to a Director or VP in the Strategy and Corporate Development organization. The role is a developmental role, providing the candidate with an opportunity to gain additional experience working directly with senior leadership preparing them for future rotations or roles in the organization.

Project involvement will vary based on the specific team the Manager / Senior Manager is hired into - Strategy, M&A/Corp Dev, Knowledge Management, Mission Forward, BPO, or Strategic Projects. Job responsibilities will generally include strategic analysis, project management, and communications.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in strategy consulting and additional professional experience in business management, finance, operation management, program/project management or related roles. A bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree in business administration is ideal.

This role is fast-paced, dynamic, multi-faceted and requires diverse skills including consant communication in a complex, publicly held technology company of scale. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills requiring an extremely organized, positive and efficient demeanor with the ability to manage multiple duties at any given time.


Key Areas of Responsibility

Program Management:

  • Manages, coordinates and facilitates team meeting and communication routines, include agenda-setting, note-taking and action, decision and issue logging and tracking
  • Manages and provides leadership for the delivery and coordination of moderate to complex projects or programs prioritized in alignment with stakeholders' expectations and business needs
  • Develops and maintains reporting procedures and monitors performance in function and project control activities; prepares and distributes reports related to function and project activities and general administration/management
  • Helps support communication of project scope, goals and responsibilities to project teams; supports alignment of stakeholder expectations, and requirements of varying degrees of complexity
  • Organizes function and project activities that may require interdepartmental meetings and communication ensuring completion of the initiatives and activities on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Leading, participating or contributing to one or more special projects under strategy, corporate development, analytics, or business transformation areas. These projects tend to be time sensitive with high visibility and/or high impact areas with varying degrees of complexity that require creative thinking, collaboration and problem solving
  • Help implement initiatives and programs for the group and for enterprise processes for which this group is responsible and accountable
  • Help research topics as required by the SVP

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of work experience with 2+ years’ in strategy consulting; additional professional experience in program/project management or related roles is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree in business administration is ideal
  • Project management experience: managed complex and visible engagements and projects with multiple stakeholders at leadership level in an organization
  • Exceptional organizational skills: ability to meet urgent deadlines by elevating and prioritizing tasks and activities as required by the business need
  • Detail oriented and analytical: employs problem solving skills, ability to identify business processes and recommend opportunities for improvement
  • Research skills: have an intellectual curiosity and ability to help others in the function create thought leadership, participate in research and writing white papers or points of view for internal or external dissemination

Required Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills: exceptional written and interpersonal communication, demonstrates effective in messaging based on relevant audiences internally and externally
  • Agile, flexible and open-minded leader experienced in leading and managing various and diverse tasks, navigating constant change
  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence, mediating between parties, providing support, deliverables and sometimes strategic advice to senior leaders and requiring a balance between positivity, pragmaticism, self-control, empathy and flexibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Digitally savvy and fluent in current and evolving business productivity, collaboration and reporting tools and understand key enterprise systems functionality and data interdependencies
  • Deep experience in Microsoft Office Suite: 365, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word; proficiency in translating data and information into presentations including visual data, charts, tables, and graphs
  • Will travel as required
