Recognized as Cisco’s Services Partner of the year in the Americas for FY13, CDW is looking to expand its management team in the area of SMART services.

The Manager of the Product Protection team is responsible for all things related to the sale of Cisco SMART Services at CDW. Responsibilities include accelerating CDW’s renewal and attach metrics, achieving financial performance, coworker development, and day-to-day team execution. This position is also accountable for strategic vendor relationships, training & education plans, sales readiness, and operational excellence.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Deliver sales revenue, renewal/attach rates, and growth metrics in the respective technology and practice area.
  • Develop and lead high-performing team leads, Specialists, and Data Analysts.
  • Contribute to the development of the Product Protection strategic plan and build associated tactical plans to drive the strategy.
  • Lead development and enhancements to our SmartTracker portal and tool.
  • Build and foster relationships with top partners customers.
  • Work collaboratively with sales teams to sell annuity based services agreements
  • Engage directly with customers and present CDW capabilities in sales settings.
  • Jointly develop and execute marketing campaigns and programs
  • Analyze market opportunities, quantify results, and take appropriate steps to obtain renewal and attach goals
  • Collecting market data and intelligence to determine the appropriate steps to provide an industry leading solution.
  • Define and manage the complex outsourcing strategies

Other Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, manage and hold teams accountable for results including financial targets, coworker engagement and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan appropriate training and professional development for each team member.
  • Create and review performance plans with individual team members using measurable criteria and input from relevant sources including peers, clients and vendors
  • Foster pervasive communication/collaboration across entire management team
  • Recruit, hire and develop coworkers.
  • Identify and work through challenges that the team faces with manufacturer or distribution tools
  • Standardize workflow processes for entire team by proactively finding ways to automate our processes
  • Create team oriented environment that rewards success and supports continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing or other relevant major experience or equivalent professional experience
  • Three plus years of experience with Cisco SMART programs.
  • Three years of experience selling, delivering or supporting the sales of complex services agreements.
  • Previous leadership experience
