The Software Engineer will initially focus on partnering with internal and external stakeholders to lead and manage the implementation of CDW’s new HCM system, Workday. This role will be responsible for helping design and deploy a best practice global HCM system that supports CDW’s HR strategy. The Software Engineer will be responsible for development within the application, implementation support. This role will be responsible for the overall health of the platform and the long term vision. This role will be guided by CDW’s Enterprise Architecture function and will continue to improve CDW overall application technology. This role will be critical to create alignment across the multiple functions within HR and ensure there is consensus on how the different modules within Workday (e.g. recruiting, compensation, talent management, etc.) are interconnected.
This role requires someone with strong analytical skills and the ability to breakdown complex problems and strong communication skills.
