The primary responsibility of this position is utilizing extensive experience to balance a range of operational and vendor obligations that support and complement the direct selling activities to select Enterprise Accounts and/or mid-market accounts including:

  • Coordination of and ownership of all activities associated with pre and post sales activities.
  • Operations focal for Public cloud/aaS transactions related to Enterprise and/or mid-market Clients.
  • Liaison between the Sales Team, Client and all internal Sirius departments to ensure client satisfaction in all areas.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partners and collaborates with Client Executive and/or Sales Specialist to oversee all pre and post sales activities associated with a client’s entire spend with Sirius, ensuring operational areas meet or exceed the CE/Client’s transactional specifications (eg: proposal and invoice formats, order status communication detail, etc.) and timeline requirements.
  • Responsible for all activities associated with a cloud sales opportunity including credit evaluation and approval, operational deal structure, registrations, configuration request to vendor/distributor, proposal generation, pricing, and order booking. Oversees order fulfillment, provisioning, and invoice/payment reconciliation activities. Coordinates activity of all operational departments for solution sell Opportunities (ie: product/services/maintenance, etc.).
  • Communicates with Client on behalf of the Client Executive (including leading or participating on Client calls) in order to gather additional information needed to win and complete the sale, such as: configuration, revision or proposal detail, and/or required order fulfillment information. Independently handles or collaborates with operational peers to resolve Client disputes and solve complex problems across all operational areas (eg: quotes, procurement, provisioning, contract modifications, invoicing, etc.).
  • Proactive in adhering to CRM business processes that capture all support tasks throughout the transaction’s lifecycle.
  • Completes ad hoc requests or provides additional, non-standard support as needed for and determined by the Client and/or CE. (eg: Custom quote or order tracking reports, spend/trend reporting, sf.com forecast assistance, etc.)
  • Participates in training of new SSA team members and development of specialized training documentation, in addition to participating on various organizational projects as a subject matter expert as necessary.
  • Ensures all Cloud associated flow down terms and transactional terms are represented correctly on all client facing proposals/documentation.
  • Aligns with Finance, parts and legal to ensure new item setup includes all appropriate vendor flow downs required by reseller contract and/or EULA.
  • Meets all KPIs for Operations team.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Technology, Business or Finance
  • Minimum 1 year Sirius experience or 2 years relevant to role external experience required.
  • Preferred Sales support experience in the IT industry

  • Ability to work independently with minimal managerial guidance utilizing historical best practice experience and decision-making skills.
  • Proven results in multi-tasking, oral and written communication, listening, adaptability, and time management.
  • Ability and willingness to work nights/weekends as required to meet client and/or business needs.
  • Ability and willingness to become reasonably proficient across multiple brands to meet Client business needs.
  • Experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, Purchasing, and/or Accounting utilizing common business practices related to purchasing, pricing, and payment for commodities and services.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel
  • Experience with record keeping functions.
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated follow through skills.
  • CRM experience
