The Program Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the integration of products, enablement of sellers, and development of programs for their respective category across CDW business segments (Corporate / Government). The incumbent is responsible for administration of tools related to programs to assist CDW in growing profitable revenue while delivering a superior customer experience. This role’s primary goal includes optimizing process and procedures for gross profit generating programs down to the customer level through our solution architects and sales; improving tools, processes, and resources to support selling; adding operational efficiencies to better scale; and helping align cross functional resources to support growth in both revenue and profit the performance and opportunity for key partnerships in the emerging solution of DCaaS (Data Center as-a-Service) including but not limited to NetApp, Pure Storage, and Dell. The role will focus on building top line revenue driving attach and service opportunities to grow CDW’s overall market share in DCaaS solutions

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Grow revenue and overall profitability for Data Center as-a-service solutions
  • Analyze complex industry information to identify, develop and execute strategies to increase sales. Maintain expert knowledge of product portfolio within respective category
  • Assist in creation and execution of the Business Plan for Data Center as-a-service solutions
  • Identify key stakeholders, align priorities, lead execution, and drive consistency around Data Center as-a-service solutions and communications across organization
  • Develop and articulate competitive positioning and differentiation of brands and CDW’s overall go-to-market strategy within Data Center as-a-service solutions
  • Develop trusted partnership with Strategic Sales leaders, presales specialists, sales, and operations / PPM (Product and partner management) to provide a platform for operational efficiencies and process improvements
  • Act as central point for maintaining contractual agreements, delivery and presales certification levels for specializations and growing partner investment in CDW’s capabilities within this solution subset.
  • Ensuring the development or enhancement of our tools, resources, reporting and process improvements to best service both internal and external customers.
  • Work strategically with marketing to develop or maximize opportunities that promote the awareness of DCaaS and increase customer penetration
  • Mentor and coach junior team members

Develop a Product Strategy

  • Be the subject matter expert on owned product area and associated programs. These will include building and developing the programmability and process automation for DCaaS focused solutions relating to how CDW grows revenue and capabilities in this space.
  • Envisioning, articulating, and prioritizing a long-term strategy Of DCaaS solutions at CDW.
  • Develop and drive strategy and roadmap for the DCaaS solutions especially with emerging partner solutions, taking into consideration business objectives, identified needs, and resource constraints. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop this strategy into an achievable roadmap that delivers on business goals.
  • Clearly communicating strategy and goals to project teams and ensuring delivery against them.
  • Gather information on needs then work with teams to validate process improvement ideas and evaluate opportunities.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree + 5 years sales/marketing experience/project management, OR
  • 9 years’ experience in sales/marketing/project management, OR
  • 4 years CDW PPM experience + 5 years in sales/marketing/project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the Technology Industry.
