The Manager, Strategic Partner Investments will lead and oversee programs, processes, and/or tools that support CDW’s investment strategies. This role is also responsible for coaching and developing the team to ensure internal and external stakeholders have an extraordinary experience when working with CDW on investment plans and strategic initiatives. The Manager, Strategic Partner Investments takes a broad approach to solve complex business issues and provide recommendations to key stakeholders. This role will work across departments to manage designated projects and/or programs and will be responsible for meeting agreed upon deadlines, leveraging data to make business decisions, and for driving awareness of the assigned initiatives. This Manager, Strategic Partner Investments will support high level projects with Partner Investment Specialists for prospective investment opportunities. They also will focus on driving continuous improvement to ensure that current projects align with CDW’s ESG mission. Additionally, the role work directly with CDW’s Partners, PPM, Marketing, Sales and Finance teams.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Partner with internal Corporate Social Responsibility stakeholders to determine eligible organizations and underserved communities to deliver meaningful resources and solutions.
  • Identify proper channels within ITDM’s to target messaging and communication regarding our ESG initiatives and activities.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for improved alignment or productivity across the Partner Investment, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Category/Brand teams.
  • Cross-departmental collaboration with internal stakeholders to bring awareness of strategic initiatives and sponsorships to partners for larger meaningful investments.
  • Coach and develop team to expertly position CDW investment opportunities to both internal and external customers.
  • Drive awareness and understanding of priorities and top initiatives across stakeholders.
  • Proficiently position CDW investment opportunities to both internal and external customers. 
    Develop trusted relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Successfully work through challenges with internal and external stakeholders by listening, problem solving, and making recommendations for a mutually agreed upon outcome.
  • Provide feedback and communicate requirements that support improvements and build strong relationships with third party agencies. Meet or exceed financial results specific to the roles function and area of responsibility.

Other Responsibilities

  • Deliver against partner program objectives within the various programs assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure any programs within purview are fully connected to all aspects of partner marketing plan, creating a cohesive partner deliverable.
  • Work collaboratively with 3rd party agencies while overseeing their efforts and ensuring delivery of their contracted services.
  • Execute, improve and communicate a measurement strategy for programs, working in concert with Marketing Analytics and Brand & Sponsorship teams where applicable.
  • Seek out new opportunities that fit CDW’s strategy for sports/entertainment/charity partner programs.
  • Vet incoming opportunities to determine fit within CDW’s strategy for sports/entertainment/charity partner programs. 

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree + 3 years work experience in sales, marketing, finance product and partner management, OR
  • 7 years of work experience in sales, marketing, finance, or product and partner management.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to effectively interact and present to all levels of stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to be persuasive.
  • Proven track record of driving results.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively and see projects through from inception to completion.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the technology industry.
