Your role at CDW is of the utmost importance to the company’s mission, objectives, and reputation. As the SR Manager, Governance, Risk and Compliance, you will streamline, scale, and continuously improve security compliance programs across CDW’s growing global business units, with a focus on supporting customers, overseeing third parties, and educating coworkers. 

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage the Third-Party Risk Management program, ensuring compliance with internal security policies and external regulations.
  • Review and negotiate security requirements in customer and vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with security standards and best practices.
  • Respond to customer security questionnaires and audits, demonstrating our security posture and capabilities.
  • Strengthen and deliver a security awareness and training program.
  • Create and distribute security communication materials, such as newsletters, bulletins, and alerts, to raise security awareness and promote security culture.
  • Manage and mentor team members within scope.
  • Collaborate with other security teams and stakeholders, such as legal, procurement, sales, and engineering, to provide guidance and support on security matters.
  • Stay abreast of security trends, threats, and best practices, and share insights and recommendations with the security leadership and the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Global Information Security Director.

What we expect of you:

  • We value experience, skills, drive, aptitude, and attitude over university degrees and certifications.
  • At least 10 years of experience in information security, governance, risk, and compliance, or related field.
  • 3 years of leadership experience
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC, PCI, CMMC, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to translate technical security concepts into business terms and communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and deliver results within deadlines and expectations.
