The Technical Project Manager manages complex projects and Agile value streams, which are highly visible and critical to the business. The Technical Project Manager communicates with team members and stakeholders effectively and understands how to motivate and lead teams, projects, and people in a resource-intensive, highly demanding and rapidly changing business environment. This role requires maintaining day-to-day tasks, the product delivery, and the project’s overall success. The Technical Project Manager is also responsible for change management activities at all levels of the organizations.

What you will do:

  • Plan, build, and run technology-based solutions consistent with CDW’s implementation methodology.
  • Manage and deliver programs and projects within stated targets.
  • Responsible for the delivery of effective change management by consistent application of the change management process and the correct integration of tools, platforms, applications and resources.
  • Management of IT Application and Infrastructure change requests, approvals and the scheduled releases into the production environment.
  • Deliver customer facing and internal change management activities to ensure ongoing stakeholder and user engagement.
  • Coach and guide team members how to optimize their efficiency within the project team best.
  • Helping the team achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work.
  • Defining the deliverable's schedule and scope while balancing this with timely and regular value deliveries, and organizing and leading team scrum, planning meetings.
  • Supporting the product owner in managing communications with stakeholders, managing business stakeholder's expectations for deliverables.
  • Ensure project artifacts such as user stories, definition of done, acceptance criteria, and test cases are properly documented.
  • Identify and address impediments and blockers, recognize and manage risks, dependencies, escalating when necessary.
  • Utilize tools such as ServiceNow to track team progress, productivity, velocity, and individual performance.
  • Measure and report on team performance and progress, as well as identify opportunities for improvement.

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience required.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of how organizations go through a change and the change process.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated through problem solving skills with an understanding of process excellence.
  • Proven track record of managing costs, schedules, and scope.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across the company and departments at all levels.
  • The ability to support the needs of the project team and internal stakeholders, while holding team members accountable for completion.
  • Successful history in decomposing business objectives into a series of associated projects and manage deliverables through project teams. 
  • Master's Degree, a plus
  • Industry Certifications (PMP, CBAP, Six Sigma), a plus
