Role Overview:

The Financial Analyst proactively coordinates the financial reporting needs of internal customers and provides quality support through analysis and reporting. This role is responsible for providing insightful process improvements ensuring optimized efficiency.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

▪ Partners with key internal customers and cross functional teams to provide valuable financial analysis.
▪Contributes to daily, monthly, and quarterly analysis, reporting, and presentations.
▪Prepares analysis to support corporate projects and initiatives.
▪Prepare supporting analysis for inquires from cross functional teams.
▪Provide timely, insightful, actionable, and accurate analysis and recommendations to key areas in 
the organization.
▪Provide recommendations for process improvements in reporting and analysis.



Responsibilities:

▪Work with accounting teams to ensure closing responsibilities and deadlines are met.
▪Provide excellent customer service to all external and internal departments.
▪Provide documentation for financial schedules.
▪Build successful partnerships with key internal customers and cross functional teams.
▪Prepare analysis to support projects and initiatives.
▪Provide recommendations for process improvements in reporting and analysis.
▪Generate and validate daily reporting.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

▪Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or IT
▪1 year of financial analysis experience OR
▪1 year of data analytics experience


Other Required Qualifications:

▪Demonstrated understanding of financial concepts and the ability to apply them.
▪ Working knowledge of financial systems such as PeopleSoft or AS400.
▪ Proven track record of successfully meeting deadlines while providing high quality work  and working independently with little direction.
▪Track record of identifying process improvements and making appropriate recommendations.
▪Demonstrated ability to multitask and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
▪Adaptability in shifting priorities quickly in a fast paced environment.
▪Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
▪Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present data to all stakeholders including senior leadership.
▪Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
▪Successful history in providing world class customer service.


Preferred Qualifications:

▪Data warehouse experience
▪MBA or CPA
▪Working knowledge of SQL
