As a Documentation Specialist Intern, you will support our Human Resources Technology Team in the development of solutions through culture, processes and the best business practices while acquiring knowledge to lead compliance of all internal policies and federal/state laws. We will give you the opportunity to work directly with our Human Resource Technology professionals to collaborate on various projects that directly affect the business. We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working individual to assist administrative support to support our coworkers’ talent lifecycle.

What you’ll do:
  • Review published and internal materials to provide editing or proofreading services as requested 
  • Work on deliverables, and training materials, taking the lead on writing technical volumes when necessary 
  • Maintain corporate best practices pertaining to style formats and documentation retention 
  • Deliver new or revised material in a time-sensitive manner
  • Coordinate with technical subject matter experts to ensure accuracy 
  • Maintain and meet deliverable schedules. Must be proactive in obtaining information from multiple internal and external teams 
  • Responsible for ensuring that all internal customer-facing documentation is clear, concise and polished 
  • Use critical thinking skills to identify complex problems in written material in order to develop alternatives, evaluate options and implement solutions 
  • Develop process documentation templates, standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:
  • Currently enrolled undergraduate students with a junior or senior status with a graduation date of December 2019, May 2020, December 2020 or May 2021. 
  • Preferred experience in Visio, training video software such as Brainshark, Captivate or ScreenFlow. 
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills. 
  • Self-motivated and driven to get results and make an impact while utilizing strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively. 
  • Availability to work a 40-hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer. 
  • Team oriented; develops positive relationships with coworkers and other partners involved. 
  • General computer and email proficiency.
  • Authorization to work in the US; without sponsorship as a full-time coworker.
