The Advisor in this role will lead the NanoTech program including strategy, partner engagement, content generation, reporting and interdepartmental engagement. The Advisor would ensure the delivery of meaningful digital training content to CDW sellers on a scheduled monthly cadence.

 

Digital Training Program Advisor Key Areas of Responsibility
This coworker will lead the NanoTech Program including:

  • Annual strategic planning to align to sales technology campaigns and focal calendars, including partner engagement
  • Develop, manage, and execute project management strategies to ensure effective resource allocation, commitment from project team members, timeliness, and attainment of business requirements
  • Engage Partners, ITS Solution Architects, and other experts to create, edit, and curate content to provide a best in class participant experience
  • Provide coaching to subject matter experts on building top-notch content
  • Publish content on a monthly refresh cycle via the CDW LMS (Learning Management System)
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including the Sellers Edge Report to Sales Operations
  • Provide business insights and performance reporting for Sales and Coworker Services scorecards

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in Sales Capability or ITS Capability strategy projects that may be large, complex, medium-to-high risk, or highly visible
  • Provide ongoing program and feedback and communication updates to stakeholders
  • Partner with external vendors or contractors to either build or tailoring vendor materials to meet CDW-specific needs when necessary
  • Collaborate cross departmentally to share best practices & support key departmental initiatives. Serve as the subject matter expert to the sales environment
  • Travel up to 25% (For Illinois based positions, must be flexible to work in the Riverside and Lincolnshire offices as business dictates)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years’ successful selling experience, or 5 years of experience in facilitating sales training, or 5 years of facilitating technology training or 5 years of combined experience in sales and sales/technology training

  • Demonstrated facilitation/communication experience with a successful track record of increasing participants knowledge, performance and effectiveness
  • Demonstrated project and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships cross-functionally
  • Aptitude for new concepts and technologies with the ability to quickly put them into practical use
  • Track record of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to have regular, predictable attendance
  • Ability to talk, see, hear and use hands to operate a computer and other equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree focused in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Learning or Education
  • Technical certifications (Cisco, EMC, NetAPP, Microsoft, AWS)
    Training certifications (ATD)
  • Proven HTML experience
  • Strong ability to analyze
  • History of designing and evaluating learning and performance improvement solutions.
  • Experience with instructional design, adult learning theories, and evaluation methodologies
