The Sr. Sales Analyst (Planning and Modeling) develops and maintains the models used to set product goals and connected planning for the Sales Organization. This role focuses on reviewing existing methodologies and providing insight and recommendations to Senior Leaders to properly align sales behaviors with company initiatives.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Design, develop and implement new goal processes for Sales Leadership
  • Maintain existing goal algorithms and update as necessary
  • Work with Senior Leaders to design goal concepts and models to support initiatives
  • Provide recommendations for model architecture design based on industry best practices in Anaplan
  • Complete complex data analysis projects to support various company initiatives
  • Summarize analysis learnings, package, and present insights to share with VPs and executive level management
  • Work closely with key Sales Operations Leaders on cross departmental initiatives and design a scalable Connected Planning environment
  • Ability to identify issues and structural problems and generate actionable recommendations using Anaplan implementation methodologies
  • Assess various sales force strategies throughout the year
  • Work with departments on the Anaplan platform and consult on the overall expansion of the environment
  • Serve as a consultant to the business, providing guidance around CDW’s goal data and connected planning models


Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Management Information Systems or related field)
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience (Analytics, Model Design, Compensation Plans, Business Intelligence, Quota Setting, Financial Planning).

Other Required Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze large volumes of raw data, draw conclusions, and develops actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • History of balancing multiple time-sensitive priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to directors and VPs
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong cross functional relationships
  • Strong skillset within Excel. Including an understanding of how to develop macros, and model large data sets utilizing Lookups and SumIf functions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master Anaplanner
  • Sales/Sales Operations experience
  • Past experience working directly with IT departments
  • Project management experience
