This position will build, lead and mentor a team of Solutions Managers, Solution Architects and Technical Specialists to accelerate the growth of our software services solutions business in the areas of unified communications, collaboration, and desktop and data center optimization. The incumbent provides overall management of the solutions and services business through standard operating procedures, standardized reporting, and solutions analysis. The incumbent in this role will manage all solutions associated with software services.



Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Deliver required services revenue, gross profit and growth metrics. 
  • Define and execute standard operating procedures in the overall management of the software services business.
  • Establish executive channel relationships, maintain a defined rhythm of business, and actively participate in the strategic vision and execution of key channel programs.
  • Support the account management teams in sales of complex software solutions into strategic accounts.
  • Collaborate with services delivery and sales leadership on capacity planning, best practices, and processes in support of high quality customer delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Drive services awareness and readiness across key markets within sales and software sales teams.

Responsibilities


Sales Support

  • Deliver required services revenue, gross profit and growth metrics. 
  • Support the account management teams in sales of complex software solutions into strategic accounts.
  • Develop processes for effective sales engagement that leverages technical presales resources in the most effective manner, targeted towards appropriate opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales and software sales management to ensure software services attach to licensing and hardware opportunities.

Business Management

  • Define and execute standard operating procedures in the overall management of the software services business.
  • Collaborate with services delivery and sales leadership on capacity planning, best practices, and processes in support of high quality customer delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Drive services awareness and readiness across key markets within sales and software sales teams.
  • Utilize standard reporting, tools and processes to measure and manage the business.
  • Collaborate with Software Solutions Sr. Manager to ensure solutions roadmaps and technical sales readiness plan meet the needs of the software sales team and the market trends.

Channel Management

  • Establish executive channel relationships, maintain a defined rhythm of business, and actively participate in the strategic vision and execution of key channel programs.
  • Work with partner and product management, marketing, and the channel to identify and execute campaigns and programs focused on accelerating the growth of software solutions and services. 

Coworker Development

  • Elevate the sales management and expertise level of your team.
  • As a member of the senior management team, contribute to the strategy and overall management of the software business.
  • Create and review performance plans with individual team members using measurable criteria and input from relevant sources including peers, clients and vendors.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business, computer science, a related technical degree or equivalent.
  • Five years of related consulting management and/or sales management experience.
  • Seven years sales and/or solution selling experience.

  • Previous management experience to include managing medium to large teams
  • Ability to lead and develop managers across multiple geographies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five years’ experience with Microsoft technologies, licensing and the Microsoft channel.
  • MBA
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
