Are you looking to gain experience in eCommerce for a Fortune 200 Information Technology company? CDW is the "real world" experience you're looking for. We want fresh, youthful minds to work (and play) with some of the smartest, most creative, hardest working people in their fields. 

As an eCommerce Summer Intern, you will be responsible for researching new and underperforming eProcurement accounts within the business. We will give you the opportunity to work directly with our sales professionals to collaborate on projects that directly affect the business. We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working individual to coordinate with resources from all business groups within our sales and business development departments.

What you’ll do:
You'll participate in a variety of meaningful projects that will allow you to experience each step in our high-performance sales environment. You will make a significant impact to our sales team by providing a fresh perspective. Beyond collaborating and managing strategic projects, the program delivers enrichment activities and social opportunities to grow your professional network and development. Past professional development events included: Executive panel breakfast, vendor partner tours, volunteer day and structured workshops.• Responsible for researching new and underperforming eProcurement accounts.
  • Improve relationships with new and existing key contacts.
  • Uncover additional potential opportunities through follow up with customers.
  • Assist customers in establishing online accounts. 
  • Conduct CDW.com site walkthroughs to support our eProcurement and eCommerce business
  • Learn CDW’s tools to establish customer specific eCommerce premium pages. Create/maintain existing customer pages.
  • Work with eProcurement marketplace partners to uncover new integration opportunities for CDW.
  • Work with eProcurement marketplace partners to understand customer buying behaviors and missed opportunity for CDW.
  • Help build the acumen of the Education sales team for positioning eCommerce with their customers.
  • Work with experienced Account Managers on targeted selling campaigns.
  • Research segment specific data for Sales Managers’ territory optimization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand the CDW business model better.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to understand business model and their partnership with CDW.


What we’re looking for:
  • Currently enrolled undergraduate students with a junior or senior status with a graduation date of December 2019 or May 2020.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to get results and make an impact while utilizing strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively.
  • Availability to work a 40-hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer.
  • Team oriented; develops positive relationships with coworkers and other partners involved.
  • General computer and email proficiency
  • Authorization to work in the US; without sponsorship as a full-time coworker.
