As the Organizational Capability Consultant, you will work on a full range of talent development initiatives and practices related to performance management, succession planning and career development that support the organization’s strategic goals.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Develop processes and systems to support talent identification, assessment, development and deployment
  • Coordinates planning, implementation, and maintenance of talent review process, succession planning, high potential, performance management and career development programs.
  • Prepare and present talent updates for relevant leadership, executives and board of directors
  • Develops and sustains collaborative relationships with HR business partners and stakeholders on talent management activities.
  • Design, develop and deliver instructional materials, process improvement solutions, and change management strategies
  • Assess business challenges, diagnose Organizational Development related opportunities and implement solutions that positively impact organizational effectiveness.
  • Stay abreast of best practices and trends in the field of performance management and recommend, design and implement creative programs that develop employees and drive performance.
  • Develop reporting and analytics by measuring results, optimizing the impact, compiling and summarizing talent metrics and insights that impact key business decisions
  • Partners with HRIS on talent management systems configuration and maintenance
  • Consults with leadership on performance and organizational matters.
  • Conducts needs assessments to identify talent strengths and gaps to determine measures required to enhance talent performance and overall company performance.
  • Manage organizational effectiveness projects that may be large, complex, medium-to-high risk, or highly visible.
  • Provides administrative support for development, facilitation, and optimization of talent review meetings including system administration, templates, materials and presentations
  • Assist with special projects, assignments and execution of organizational and departmental initiatives
  • Travel to CDW locations as needed



Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 years experience in organizational development, talent management or related field

Other Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of general talent management practices, including talent assessment, performance management and succession planning
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and evaluate talent management solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders including executive leadership.
  • Strong project management, organizational and time management skills
  • Proven presentation skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, compile and present data to convey an idea and recommendations
  • Proven track record of strong interpersonal skills and discretion to manage sensitive and confidential matters

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft and Cornerstone
  • Manages large-scale change management in areas of talent review, succession planning approaches etc.
