Role Overview
The
Sales Analytics Supervisor position is designed to
drive report automation and process efficiency.
In addition, this role focuses on providing rich and actionable insights
on sales data to increase productivity and effectiveness of the Sales Organization.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Report
data using Cognos and Pyramid Analytics in an Enterprise Data Warehouse
environment
- Evaluate
ways to improve processes to streamline data delivery
- Design,
develop, and implement predictive reports for the Sales Leadership Team
- Design
and produce ad-hoc sales reports for the Leadership Team when automated
reporting is unavailable
- Work
closely with key Sales Leaders on a regular basis for business monitoring
in addition to helping to advise on strategic issues
- Summarize
analysis learnings, package, and present insights to share with VPs and
executive level management
- Responsible for supervising,
coaching, and motivating a team of analysts
Other Responsibilities
- Proactively look for
opportunities to streamline processes
- Serve
as a consultant to the business, providing guidance around CDW’s sales
data and Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Perform
usage analysis of our BI software and provide key findings to directors
and VPs
- Work collaboratively
with other members of the Sales Operations team

Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: 4 year bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of analyst
experience with sales analysis or support, financial analysis, econometrics, or
statistics
- 2+ years of experience
in team lead or mentor type role
Other
Required Qualifications
- Excellent analytical
skills with the ability to effectively communicate findings across all levels
of the organization.
- Must have program and project management experience
- Strong process improvement
skills. Six Sigma certification
preferred.
- Expert-level Excel skills
(will be tested)
- Cognos, Pyramid Analytics,
or other analytical or business intelligence tool experience
- History of balancing
multiple time-sensitive priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to
the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
- Strong organizational
skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Qualifications
- Supervisory/management
experience
- Possess in depth
knowledge of sales and sales operation functions
- Proven ability to build
and maintain strong cross functional relationships
- SQL Server Management
experience
