This role will support and manage the 2020 US Decennial Census Program. The 2020 dDaaS Program is 4-year program expected to run until 2021.

 

The Senior Project Coordinator provides support to the Census Program Team as well as fulfills the role of the Project Coordinator. The Senior Project Coordinator is accountable for establishing and maintaining team best practices while advocating successful process adoption throughout the organization. The Senior Project Coordinator will be efficient in the day-to-day operations as well as mentor, train and support the Project Coordinator.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

n  Fulfill Project Coordinator role as needed or special projects

n  Develop, refine, document and communicate best practices and processes

n  Ensure compliance to best practices and processes through inspection and mentoring/training

n  Collaborate with the Census Program and Project Managers

n  Assist Census Program and Project Managers with the Financial success and P&L of the Program

n  Encourage and embrace change

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel a minimum of 25%
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Requirements

·         Associate degree in a business related (project management) program preferred or equivalent experience

 

·         Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar support role for a professional services organization preferred

 

·         Experience with a Professional Services Automation software (such as Changepoint) preferred
