The Senior Organizational Capability Consultant will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of organizational programs and initiatives that enable organizational performance.  Specifically, this role will work on programs that build leader and coworker capabilities, enhance coworker engagement, and improve team and individual performance to help drive business results.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage organizational effectiveness projects that may be large, complex, medium-to-high risk, or highly visible
  • Design, develop and deliver instructional materials (instructor-led course materials, eLearning, blended solutions, job aids, etc.), performance improvement solutions (process redesign, job tools, etc.), and change management strategies (executive communications, webinars, change readiness meetings, road shows, etc.)
  • Develop, manage, and execute project plans to ensure effective resource allocation, commitment from project team members, and attainment of business requirements
  • Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders to define needs and translate business requirements into performance objectives
  • Lead reporting, measurement and analytics for assigned programs and initiatives by conducting, compiling and summarizing stakeholder feedback and other talent data. Make recommendations and incorporate changes to enhance offerings based on feedback
  • Assess business challenges, diagnose Organizational Development related opportunities and implement solutions that positively impact organizational effectiveness

Other Responsibilities
  • Manage existing and build new Organizational Capability programs and initiatives as assigned, including leadership, management, coworker and team development offerings
  • Responsible for design, development, pilot, delivery and program management of annual custom leadership development workshop for all supervisors & above.  Includes delivery of train-the-trainer session and serving as coach to additional facilitators
  • Serve as co-facilitator of New Leader Academy for newly promoted/new to CDW managers and supervisors
  • Responsible for managing and driving usage of business and professional skills eLearning program.  Includes third-party vendor management, marketing campaigns, content recommendations for key audiences, creation of wrap-around content design, and measurement of program effectiveness
  • Conduct external/internal research, perform analyses and identify insights relevant to assigned organizational development projects, audience or business.  Apply insights to elevate offerings
  • Serve as primary author and content manager of the CDW Leadership Portal


Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years’ experience in Human Resources OR designing and implementing division or company-wide performance improvement and organizational effectiveness programs

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, compile and present data to convey an idea and recommendations 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor other coworkers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of employee life cycle including talent assessment and selection, engagement, development, performance and talent management, and retention
  • Knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theories, and evaluation methodologies
  • Seasoned facilitator and presenter, experienced interacting and presenting to all levels of stakeholders (senior leaders, managers, individual contributors)
  • Experience performing analyses and identifying insights applicable to the organizational development project, audience or business

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree focused in Business Administration, Human Resources or Organizational Development
