This role will support and manage the 2020 US Decennial Census Program. The 2020 dDaaS Program is 4-year program expected to run until 2021.

 

The Senior Project Coordinator provides support to the Census Program Team as well as fulfills the role of the Project Coordinator.  The Senior Project Coordinator is accountable for establishing and maintaining team best practices while advocating successful process adoption throughout the organization.  The Senior Project Coordinator will be efficient in the day-to-day operations as well as mentor, train and support the Project Coordinator.

 
Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Fulfill Project Coordinator role as needed or special projects
  • Develop, refine, document and communicate best practices and processes
  • Ensure compliance to best practices and processes through inspection and mentoring/training
  • Collaborate with the Census Program and Project Managers
  • Assist Census Program and Project Managers with the Financial success and P&L of the Program

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
 

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel a minimum of  25%
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
 

Preferred Requirements

    • Associate degree in a business related (project management) program preferred or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar support role for a professional services organization preferred
    • Experience with a Professional Services Automation software (such as Changepoint) preferred
 

CUSTOMER FOCUS AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Each CDW coworker is responsible for maintaining customer focus and conforms to the CDW quality management system.  Specific responsibilities include:

 
  1. Periodic reviews of CDW Circle of Service Philosophy and the Quality Policy to understand CDW’s commitment to excellent client service and continual improvement and to conform to these policies and philosophies at all times
  2. During your orientation period, review with your supervisor as needed the quality procedures and operating instructions listed at CDWHOME/ISO9001 intranet site that apply to your specific assignment(s) within the scope of this job position.
  3. And after the orientation period to conform to these procedures and instructions, including any reporting (and/or record keeping) responsibilities.
  4. Report any client problem, or any service outage that may cause potential client problems to your supervisor.
  5. Communicate improvement ideas that you have regarding CDW service quality or client satisfaction per established means.
