The Security and Safety Support Services Coordinator will assist the Safety, Security and Business Continuity department with the implementation and maintenance of its global programs. The position will be responsible for providing support to include developing policies, procedures, training and awareness material, key metrics, and driving program compliance. This position will report directly to the Global Business Continuity, Safety, and Security Manager.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Regularly handle issues and subject matter that requires confidentiality, discretion and judgment while keeping senior security management informed and up to date on status
  • Identify and develop improved methods of providing security and safety services to coworkers at site specific location
  • Creating and supplying metrics to demonstrate security team effectiveness and performance
  • Identify process improvements that will streamline security & safety efforts and improve quality of service at site specific location
  • Monitoring compliance with Security and Business Continuity standards, regulation, and contractual requirements
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining global programs for the Safety, Security and Business Continuity department
  • Overseeing the creation and maintenance of department records, files, logs and plans
  • Providing support and guidance to the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
Other Responsibilities
  • Development of global security standards, policies and procedures
  • Administering the Global Travel Security Program to include the coordinating the implementation of risk-based mitigation measures
  • Coordinating with the sales and marketing department to develop customer facing security and business continuity awareness information
  • Creating security, safety and business continuity training and awareness material with input from subject matter experts


Education and/or Experience Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or equivalent 4 years’ experience
Required Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of Security & Safety functions
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Demonstrated ability to detect urgency levels and make effective decisions under pressure
  • Ability to establish priorities, multi-task, work independently, and complete objectives in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical tools and computer software
  • Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate with peers and management, as well as interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Flexibility of schedule to accommodate varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexibility to travel as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience managing projects to include creating plans, coordinating with internal and external resources and meeting key project milestones
  • Experience developing and conducting training to internal and external departments and groups at every level of the organization to include the C-suite members
  • Experience as a technical writer developing standards, policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in law enforcement, security, EHS, or business-related degree
  • Knowledge of security systems and access control technology
  • Global Security Operations Center analyst/ supervisory experience
  • Experience operation within a global corporation and managing international security and safety projects
  • Proven history of analyzing global security risks and developing the appropriate mitigation strategies
  • A history managing and supporting global transportation and supply chain efforts
  • Previous interaction within executive protection, investigations, safety, and event security teams
  • Having conducted Security Risk Assessments at a variety of different facilities
  • International experience in travel security, to include high risk locations, and / or managing international crisis management incidents
  • Having experience and certifications in EHS related responsibilities
