The Senior Integrated Planning Specialist oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing program including planning, organizing, leading and controlling program activities while delivering a superior customer experience.

The Program Manager oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing program including planning, organizing, leading and controlling program activities while delivering a superior customer experience.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • The Program Manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
  • Planning the Program: Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in alignment with the organization’s strategy and priorities.
  • Planning the Program: Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Planning the Program: Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program.
  • Planning the Program: Manage an annual budget and operating plan to support the program.
  • Planning the Program: Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement.
  • Planning the Program: Support development of department goals and plans, while tracking program success and/or suggesting corrective action based on data.
  • Organizing the Program: Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization.
  • Organizing the Program: Ensure that program activities comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards.
  • Organizing the Program: Develop forms and records to document program activities.
  • Organizing the Program: Oversee the collection and maintenance of records on the clients of the program for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization.
  • Leading the Program: Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program.
  • Leading the Program: Liaise with other managers and partners to ensure the effective and efficient program delivery.
  • Leading the Program: Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Controlling the Program: Write reports on the program for management and key stakeholders.
  • Controlling the Program: Ensure that the program operates within the approved budget.
  • Controlling the Program: Monitor and approve all budgeted program expenditures.
  • Controlling the Program: Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures.
  • Controlling the Program: Ensure that all financial records for the program are up to date.
  • Controlling the Program: Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks.
  • Controlling the Program: Monitor the program activities on a regular basis and recommend changes to enhance the program, as appropriate.

Other Responsibilities

  • Campaign Planning: Works with Marketing, Sales and agencies to build and execute content plans.
  • Campaign Planning: Accountable for management of content and messaging, ensuring alignment with marketing's playbook CDW styleguide.
  • Campaign Planning: Communicates details of content plans and deliverables to internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Campaign Planning: Serves as main point of contact for execution and delivery leads throughout the campaign development process.
  • Campaign Planning: Builds an in-depth knowledge of customer segments and technology categories to understand how to create messaging that best resonates with customers and prospects.
  • Campaign Planning: Responsible for ensuring content activities are in alignment with the organization’s strategy and priorities.
  • Campaign Planning: Collaborates with Insights & Analytics team along with agency partners to turn insights into marketing activities and campaigns.
  • Campaign Planning: Responsible for developing new initiatives to support the strategic direction of CDW.
  • Strategic Merchandising: Works in full collaboration with all the functional areas of Marketing to develop the best, customer-centric, go-to-market product strategy in support of the CDW customer contact plans.
  • Strategic Merchandising: Optimize segment contact strategies through representation of product categories across integrated media.
  • Planning Enablement: Oversee the creation of streamlined processes and efficiency gains related to all functional groups of the Integrated Planning team (Campaign Planning, Partner Planning, and Analytics).
  • Planning Enablement: Communicate, educate, and enable key internal/external stakeholders on processes related to all functional groups of the Integrated Planning team (Campaign Planning, Partner Planning, and Analytics).
  • Partner Planning: Work in full collaboration with all the functional areas of Marketing to develop the best, customer-centric, go-to-market product strategy in support of the CDW customer contact plans.
  • Partner Planning: Optimize segment contact strategies through representation of product categories across integrated media.
  • Partner Planning: Analyze performance metrics and recommend shifts to partner/category activity strategy based on the data.
  • Partner Planning: Coordinate and enter partner recommendations into EMM to align with CDW campaigns, objectives and strategies.
  • Partner Planning: Communicate and advocate the annual partner plan objectives and strategies to the marketing execution stakeholders.
  • Partner Planning: Create partner and category plan roll-ups to meet partner marketing objectives and coop income goals.
  • Partner Planning: Support quarterly partner performance reviews with data and use this data to make merchandising decisions during plan creation.
  • Partner Planning: Ensure accurate allocation of partners in activities based on historical investment trends and current partner coop forecasts.
  • Partner Planning: Approve and communicate all partner marketing plan changes to the Partner Investment and Marketing execution teams.
  • Partner Planning: Collaborate with the Partner Investment team to recommend partner plan optimizations based on marketing plan performance metrics.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of Sales and/or Marketing experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology product offerings and solutions.
  • Proven record of successful project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with sales productivity tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the company including Senior Leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and conduct primary research.
  • Experience in developing or utilizing strategic sales campaigns.
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining strategic relationships.
  • Ability to multitask and be adaptable in a fast changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CDW Sales organization and Sales process.
