The Business Development Manager develops and executes upon strategic plans to uncover and expand business opportunities within CDW Commercial business segment “[Corporate Sales]”. This individual will actively prospect for net new Adobe Sign opportunities.  The BDM will deliver a high level of expertise in demonstrating and presenting Adobe Sign product and services.  The BDM will be responsible for advocating to inside and field sales teams, networking and building customer and account manager relationships.  This candidate must be an accomplished professional with proven success, and has a proven track record of building strong customer and sales relationships.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive net new Adobe Sign opportunities across all CDW commercial sales. 
  • Working with supported sales teams, provide weekly/monthly/quarterly opportunity forecasting and visibility activity by keeping a current pipeline using forecasting tools 
  • Perform strategic and tacticle account planing management execution.  Develop and execute against a set of goals and report against KPI’s
  • Accelerate customer adoption and usage of Adobe Sign by scheduling calls with customers and AM’s, conducting online walk throughs of product usage and tools, and conduct open forums to help with customer pain points
  • Effectively distinguish Adobe Sign from competitors, offer partner pricing / program assistance, and present a well-prepared compelling case to the customer for purchase of Adobe Sign solutions
  • Evangelize and conduct training and sharing of best practices to close Adobe Sign business
  • Identify selling and marketing tools required to achieve greater sales engagement and close rates

Other Responsibilities

  • Attain monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profitability quotas
  • Conduct high level and technical conversations and training presentations and with customers and account managers
  • Consistently build and deliver on new account and opportunity pipeline

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • 5+ years of experience selling technology to [segment] clients 
  • Strong understanding of the [segment] market

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed to other CDW locations, meetings, and client sites

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of business development management experience in corporate sales
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Wide network of IT manufacturer contacts
  • Knowledge of Adobe portfolio
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
