The Coworker Services Organizational Capability Consultant is responsible for development and successful implementation of organizational programs and initiatives that build leader and coworker capabilities, enhance coworker engagement, and improve team and individual performance to help drive business results.

In addition, this role will work closely with Organizational Capability team leadership and make meaningful contributions to needs assessment and design of new offerings, as well as evaluation and continuous improvement of current programs.


Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Guide and execute on organizational effectiveness projects that may be large, complex, medium-to-high risk, or highly visible, with oversight and support from Organizational Capability team leadership.
  • Contribute to design, then develop and deliver instructional materials (instructor-led course materials, eLearning, blended solutions, job aids, etc.), performance improvement solutions (process redesign, job tools, etc.), and change management strategies (communications, webinars, road shows, etc.).
  • Develop, manage, and execute project plans to ensure successful delivery, commitment from project team members, and attainment of business requirements.
  • Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders to define needs and translate business requirements into performance objectives.
  • Conduct reporting, measurement and analytics for assigned programs and initiatives, including compilation and summary of stakeholder feedback and other talent data. Make recommendations and incorporate changes to enhance offerings based on feedback.
  • Contribute to assessment of business challenges, diagnosis of Organizational Development related opportunities and design and implementation of solutions that positively impact organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage existing and contribute to creation of new Organizational Capability programs and initiatives as assigned, including leadership, management, coworker and team development offerings, with oversight and support from Organizational Capability team leadership.
  • Serve as day-to-day program manager for the CDW Emerging Leaders Program, under the guidance of the Manager, Organizational Capability. Responsible for contributing to program planning and the evolution of program content, materials, experience, evaluation approach and reporting. Liaise with key stakeholders and partners to ensure successful program delivery. Oversee program logistics, participant tracking and budget management.
  • Contribute to needs assessment, design, development and implementation of the new CDW Manager Toolkit and subsequent redesign of New Leader Academy. Lead workstreams as assigned, partnering within the Organizational
  • Capability team and across key stakeholders within the Business Partner team, Coworker Services and across the business for successful delivery.
  • Serve as a member of the CDW Leadership Conference Steering Committee. Support development and execution of workstreams and activities as assigned.
  • Conduct external/internal research, perform analyses and identify insights relevant to assigned organizational development projects, audience or business. Apply insights to elevate offerings.
  • Serve as author and content contributor of the CDW Leadership Portal and MyCareer content on Connect.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 years of experience in Human Resources OR designing and implementing division or company-wide performance improvement and organizational effectiveness programs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and guide others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of employee life cycle including talent assessment and selection, engagement, development, performance and talent management, and retention
  • Experienced facilitator and presenter. Comfortable interacting with all levels of stakeholders (senior leaders, managers, individual contributors)
  • Approximately 10% required travel to CDW locations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree focused in Business Administration, Human Resources or Organizational Development
