The Sales Analytics Manager position is designed to develop and manage several key initiatives and processes for the Sales Organization. This individual serves as a leader within the sales organization and works closely with multiple stakeholders including VPs and SVPs within sales and other departments in the company. 



Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Develops and supports key sales initiatives through data analysis 
  • Manages all account movement initiatives and acquisition programs
  • Manages all account segmentation programs, including a new risk program
  • Co-owns the relationship with Dun & Bradstreet
  • Responsible for the Customers in Transition (CIT) account reassignment process
  • Manages the Account Productivity reports for all segments and works with sales management to make necessary modifications as needed
  • Acts as a subject matter expert regarding the field and serves as a core team member on a sales coverage optimization initiatives
  • Manages vendor programs above and beyond reporting deliverables   
  • Responsible for working cross-functionally with the sales organization to identify unmet/enhancement reporting needs
  • Documents requirement specifications for needed reporting and ensures scope, risks, dependencies, and preferences have been identified
  • Provides regular updates and holds meetings (as needed) to the project sponsor, business lead, and work group team 
  • Sales lead for Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) data requirements   
  • Analytical and data request support to several functional departments at CDW  
  • Provides training or knowledge-sharing, as needed, to the work group
  • Responsible for increasing tool usage, realizing "One Version of Truth," and optimizing report performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a 4 year bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory/management experience 
  • 5+ years analyst experience with sales analysis or support, financial analysis, econometrics, or statistics

Other Required Qualifications

  • Analytical background and a high level of financial acumen
  • Must have program and project management experience
  • Excellent analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze large volumes of raw data, draw conclusions, and develops actionable recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • History of balancing multiple time-sensitive priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to directors and VPs 
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong cross functional relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cognos, Pyramid Analytics, or other analytical or business intelligence tool experience
  • SQL Server Management experience
  • Data warehouse experience
  • Should possess in depth knowledge of sales and sales operation functions
