The Active Directory Security Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of the Active Directory infrastructure including Trusts, Group Policies, Replication, Global Catalog, and Distributed File System. The core infrastructure technology duties include Microsoft Active Directory and Windows file service architecture creation and management, global system security, and policy creation, as well as top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives.

What you will get to do:

  • Assist with the installation and configuration of the Active Directory Network components.
  • Provide technical assistance pertaining to Active Directory in planning and development of new projects
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the Active Directory environment
  • Support and maintain user account information including rights, security, and system groups
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of Active Directory upgrades and news releases
  • Proactively monitor all systems in the Active Directory domain to ensure maximum performance, efficiency and availability
  • Provide technical assistance with single sign-on and/or multi factor authentication solutions
  • Validate system upgrades and patches when required
  • Upgrade system software and hardware components as required to meet business needs
  • Ensure upgrades are occurring in accordance with established parameters
  • Provide appropriate user support as assigned
  • Implement and troubleshoot Certificate Authorities, DNS, DHCP, Federated Services and other core components

What you’ll need to succeed: 

Experience: 

  • 5 years of Active Directory experience that includes designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise level Active Directory solutions, preferred.
  • Solid experience on migration tools - ADMT, Quest migration Manager, NetIQ domain migration 
  • Solid Active Directory infrastructure, DNS/DHCP in a large environment 
  • Working experience on Azure AD,
  • Working experience of MS exchange and Office 365, Azure tenant
  • Able to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Possess good working knowledge and understanding of Windows credential stores such as Microsoft Active Directory and their related security capabilities and functions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft application software (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio and Project) 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related IT discipline preferred.

Travel and Location:

  • Ability to travel up to 30%
