The Pre-sales Regional Security Architect role is responsible for growing security product and professional services revenue within an assigned geography. Successful candidates are those who have cybersecurity expertise and thrive on building strong internal and external relationships. They enjoy digesting our customers’ challenges and leveraging their expertise to offer viable cybersecurity solutions to solve those problems.   The RSA is one who is an influencer, a leader, a networker and, at times, a hunter, but first and foremost, he/she is a trusted advisor who loves helping others to solve complex problems. 


Primary Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Works in conjunction with the Account team to deduce a customer’s cybersecurity needs and makes sound recommendations to improve their security posture. Actively collaborates with the Account team to influence account growth. 
  • Performs pre-sales activities in support of Sirius’ Security offerings.   
  • Conducts assessments (and other discovery activities) to identify and outline business and technical requirements. 
  • Evaluates client hardware and software configurations. Identifies where changes to architecture and design may be required to achieve the expected business outcomes. 
  • Provides recommendations based on analysis and clearly conveys them though the preparation and delivery of client presentations, and other proposal deliverables. Generates written proposals like Statements of Work, Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). 
  • Performs account management duties to include research, problem solving, technical support, and general maintenance of client relationship 
  • Is responsive to our internal and external customers’ needs and effectively communicates, manages expectations, and responds to all inquiries in a timely manner. 
  • Is interested in the growth of the business. Provides input to Security Leadership regarding business strategies and creative ways to achieve business goals. Seeks out new ways to drive security penetration in assigned accounts 
  • Fulfills basic administrative overhead obligations - including but not limited to completion of timecards, expense reports, and other status reports as required 
  • Maintains expertise as a cybersecurity practitioner through constant learning. Independently seeks opportunities for additional certifications and finds ways to stay abreast of relevant cybersecurity trends, topics, and solutions.  

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field 
  • At least three (3) years of Information Technology related work experience in a Cybersecurity focused role.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong client relationships and trust to secure future business.  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Prior security technical pre-sales and/or sales experience 
  • Relevant security related certifications   
  • Consulting experience 

Data Privacy and Security:

  • Participate at hire and annually in the Information Security Awareness training as well as other required training identified by the Human Resources department. Other data privacy and data security related regulatory training may be required based on your role or assignment 

Essential Functions 
The position exists to provide presales technical consulting solutions to customers and as such requires the ability to travel to and from customer sites and interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis
