Associate Manager, Collaborative Communityat CDW Careers

Our company seeks an entrepreneurial individual to lead out the vision and team of our uniquely created North American Google for Education Collaborative (https://www.amplifiedit.com/gfe-collaboratives).  The Collaborative offers schools across North America a platform to learn and share the latest updates, technical approaches, challenges and lessons learned around Google for Education and Chrome devices.  Reporting directly to the Education Impact Manager, this role requires you to shape how we expand the Collaborative’s current offerings as well as the potential expansion into new markets.

This position requires an individual who has an understanding of the education market and the Google for Education environment.  You will be shaping and scaling an already very successful formula with the goal of increasing our reach to impact more schools with knowledge around EDU best practices and technical updates.

This position will be remote and will manage one other team member, with the plan to expand that team as we scale the service.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Set the overall strategy around the current Collaborative
• Build a clear program vision & strategy for the existing Collaborative as well as where and how to expand into other areas of Education 
• Work with sales and marketing teams on how to promote and sell the Collaborative offering
• Manage the current team and build it out further as needed
• Track and report on metrics, presenting quarterly to leadership on progress against goals.
• Integrate other CDW Amplified Services into our Collaborative Offering

Other Responsibilities

• Stay current on Google Workspace for Education changes and modifications
• Attend Collaborative in person and online events to gain feedback from our customers
• Lead efforts to expand content portfolio being hosted in current and future collaboratives
• Recruit internal and external presenters and panel participants 
• Accountable for the profit/losses of the product  
• Partner with marketing and product development to identify new opportunities and secure case studies
• Comfortable and capable of leading customer conversations and presenting in executive meeting
• Create sales tools, case studies and pitch decks to convey the value of the Collaborative
• Expertise in customer research, user experience and creative design in regards to events

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

• 5+ years in Education technology industry
• Experience with Google Workspace
• Experience in Community Based Platforms or similar 

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work full time from home. Expectation is to participate in a remote environment, being on camera during all meetings.  
• Work within the Continental US. Work hours will require aligning with Central and Eastern time zones.   
• Excellent interpersonal skills (written, verbal, social)
• Extraordinary organizational skills and self-management
• Capable of presenting and leading conversations with customers, executives, and senior leadership
• Collaborate with product and services teams to capture feedback that will shape future strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
