The Lead Marketing Delivery Specialist oversees the strategy and administration of integrated multi-channel campaigns including planning, execution, and measurement. This role will be focused on CDW’s Multi-channel Automation (MCA) initiative which leverages the ActionIQ platform.  This role works with vendor Partners to define target audiences and business outcomes for campaigns.  Once defined, the individual collaborates with channel owners to identify the best mix of activities to achieve the stated goals.  After campaigns launch, the Sr Integrated Marketing Strategist monitors performance and makes recommendations for adjustments.                                                                                                                    

This role will collaborate with cross functional stakeholders including but not limited to Marketing, Partner & Product Management (PPM) and our vendor Partners.  A solid working knowledge of a range of marketing channels is needed as they will work extensively with channel owners across Social Media, Email, Paid Search, Mass Media, and eCommerce.  Sound analytical thinking along with program management skills are also a key to success as this person will have extensive interaction with our Analytics teams and our Marketing Operations Coordinators.   

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Collaborate, recommend, and present new use cases to support the strategic direction of the MCA initiative during Annual Planning 
  • Support the definition of MCA use cases with Stakeholders to support execution teams and coordination of audience, message, assets & success criteria across channels 
  • Research, identify and recommend opportunities to further develop and optimize processes and systems 
  • Develop campaign briefs to communicate the use case details including audience, messaging, success criteria, etc 
  • Ensure the MCA campaign aligns from a creative and messaging standpoint across all channels 
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations Coordinators and select teams to meet campaign milestones 
  • Ensure all MCA use cases operate within timelines and budget 
  • Leverage problem solving skills to take appropriate actions to control execution risks to ensure timely go live 
  • Maintain and update MCA documentation 
  • Schedule performance review meetings based on coordination with Marketing Analytics 
  • Manage optimization meetings, document insights and channel optimizations on individual use cases 
  • Follow-up and ensure completion of channel optimization responsibilities 

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Business or Marketing Analytics

Required Qualifications

  • Proven program management experience, driving initiatives from conception through completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a track record of successfully influencing stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • History of providing outstanding customer service to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative and creatively problem solve.
  • Record of successful organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and conduct primary research.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Knowledge of technology product offerings and solutions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years managing programs and ability to create project schedules.
  • 6 years Sales or Marketing experience or Project Management experience in Technology industry.
  • Experience in working with sales organizations.
  • Technology market knowledge and working experience.
