Velocity Interactive Portal (VIP) is a multi-year, multi-million dollar, strategic initiative that spans all of Digital Velocity (DV) and CDW. Summary
The Senior Agile Project Manager manages all phases of service delivery including: analysis and design, configuration and build, testing and training, and deployment of solutions and will be accountable for all aspects of project management including all project resources (including partners/subcontractors, on-shore and off-shore teams), project planning, scheduling, timeline, risk management, scope management, internal and external communications, status reporting, and resource management.

To be successful as a Senior Agile Project Manager you must be highly organized, highly responsive, and able to manage multiple initiatives.

Key areas of responsibility

• Working with DV/CDW co-workers as an Senior Agile Project Manager
• Interactive with internal teams to evaluate business and technical requirements
• Ensures projects are being managed effectively, establishing deliverables, milestones and risk identification/mitigation
• Documentation development to support projects (Process, Plans, Presentations, Deliverables)
• Support Sales and Engineering teams providing clear support and direction, identifying resources and constraints through careful project planning
• Ensures the project adheres to timeline. Oversees the implementation process including setting goals, planning, and monitoring progress to completion
• Support the delivery of quality solutions exceeding expectations
• Drives innovation in project management methodologies
• Executes PMO Operational Duties, including: Status Reporting, Escalation engagement, Risk management 

Education and/or Experience qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or MIS, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5-8 years of experience in managing Agile software and cloud development projects
• Some knowledge (1-2 years) and experience in hardware development projects 
• Previous direct team experience or equivalent understanding of role responsibilities 

Required qualifications

• An expert in project team management including dynamics of virtual teams, matrix reporting relationships and cross-functional resource identification and allocation

• 8+ years experience
• Previous consulting experience
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner
• Certified Scrum Master
• SAFe Scaled Agilist
