The Manager, ICX Presales is responsible for running strategic initiatives, managing personnel and managing profitable delivery of services for Intelligent CX.

The Manager, ICX Presales leverages their strong leadership and people or program management  skills to drive success within the organization. Lead Intelligent CX Practice responsible for the strategy, go to market, and professional services delivery in emerging and innovative technologies that directly influence our customer’s ability to deliver next generation customer experiences.

A successful Manager, ICX Presales is a highly organized, strong problem solver with a deep understanding of the business model, go to market strategy and strong operational experience.


Key areas of responsibility

  • Create and implement operating plans to achieve sales initiatives and Intelligent CX goals.
  • Manage strategic relationships with customers, peers and vendor partners.
  • Collaborate with sales to build synergy within accounts for Intelligent CX.
  • Deliver and meet sales goal attainment for Intelligent CX by managing for results.
  • Billable consultant to DV/CDW clients working to control outcomes and quality of service delivery projects leveraging other DV consultants (engineers).
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen and understanding of current business problems in respect to technology.
  • Understanding of current market trends and key business and IT initiatives.
  • Manages and drives contracts to cash, forecasts business growth, identifies personnel needs and controls department profitability.
  • Ensure assigned projects adhere to quality and profitability standards.
  • Drives innovation and evolution by leading strategic programs or initiatives.
  • Manages key personnel within the organization, creating Manage By Objective (MBO) plans and keeping employees accountable to departmental goals and personal MBOs.
  • Identifies and manages employee satisfaction or personnel issues working with leadership for resolution.
  • Hire, train, coach and retain diverse presales team.
  • Develop and manage talent for future roles.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.
  • Travel estimated up to 10%
  • Internal projects as required

Education and/or Experience qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management / Business Information Systems (MIS/BIS), computer science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Agile based engineering work management tools such as Atlasian Jira, Azure DevOps Boards, VersionOne or similar
  • 10+ years experience in a combination of IT roles involving pre and post sales support.

Required qualifications

  • Experience managing software development or IT operations teams
  • Experience building strategic plans and presentations
  • Experience working with and presenting to executive level sponsors
  • Previous consulting experience
  • Previous experience in program management, product management or a technology leader/manager related role(s)
  • An expert in project team management including dynamics of virtual teams, matrix reporting relationships and cross-functional resource identification and allocation

  • Twilio Studio
  • Twilml
  • Multi-lingual (English and Spanish) – Not required at all but nice to have
  • Node-Red Experience
  • Experience with Git (Github/Gitlab)
