The Senior Treasury Analyst supports all aspects of Treasury activities, cash management, risk management, and monitoring of compliance with banks and capital and debt structure management. This role works under general accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards as they relate to Treasury.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Cash management – forecasting, analysis, reporting, preparation. 
  • Risk management – Projects and data preparation. 
  • Capital structure management – reporting, preparation, analysis. 
  • Special projects. 
  • Prepare daily cash position and make recommendation for borrowing/investing to Treasury Supervisor/Manager. 
  • Collaborate with other teams (AR, AP, Payroll, IT, Accounting, Reporting, banks etc.) to maintain uninterrupted flow of funds. 
  • Publish FX rates every month end. 
  • Processes ACH transactions and wire transfers. 
  • Prepare cash flow forecast for better management of borrowing and investing activities. 
  • Review rates, fees, terms and conditions of bank services. 
  • Prepare data for annual insurance renewal if needed. 
  • Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly reports. 
  • Provide guidance and ensure accuracy of deliverables of any Treasury analyst(s). 
  • Assist with quarterly deliverables - long tern interest model, interest variance report, restricted payment basket etc. 
  • Ensure daily cash activities are accurately balanced and accounted for. 
  • Assist in the ongoing development of processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of cash management activities. 

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 
  • 3+ years of experience in Treasury, Finance and/ or Accounting 

Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with critical attention to detail.
  • History of working independently with little direction.
  • Track record of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the company while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree.
  • Previous treasury experience.
