The Treasury Analyst supports all aspects of Treasury activities, including daily cash transactions, daily cash position, cash forecasting and monitoring of compliance with banks, month end reporting, working capital analysis and bank statement reconciliation. This role works under general accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards as they relate to Treasury.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Analyze and monitor the daily cash position and update long term forecast model based on it. 
  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts. 
  • Perform daily and monthly cash journal entries in the general ledger. 
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly bank compliance procedures and reconciliation. 
  • Assist in the monthly management and analysis of working capital. 
  • Perform month end debt management procedures. 
  • Work on treasury projects to introduce efficiencies in the day to day activities. 

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years experience years in an accounting role or treasury role.
  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with critical attention to detail.
  • History of working independently with little direction.
  • Track record of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the company while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree.
  • Previous treasury experience.
  • Experience performing journal entries and daily cash responsibilities in Peoplesoft.
