This Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM), we’re excited to spotlight Eujin Lee, Sales Account Manager and Co-Vice Chair of our Pan Asian Council (PAC) Business Resource Group.
What is your ethnic background and a few aspects of your culture that are unique?
I am 100% South Korean, first generation born in America. I grew up speaking Korean in the house and learned English at school!
In what ways do you celebrate your heritage?
Speaking Korean to my grandparents to keep the language in the family as long as possible. I also try to cook and share Korean cuisine, as food is a huge part of our culture.
What are you most proud of as an Asian American?
The hardworking and selfless values that I was taught when I was younger. As well as how to respect your elders, family and the people around you.
What are your future career aspirations?
I am building my leadership skills as Co-Vice Chair of PAC and growing in my business as a Sales Account Manager.
Why is PAC involvement important to you?
PAC gives me the opportunity to connect with people who look like me, grew up like me, and have similar beliefs. Networking and celebrating our cultures with people across the company who I wouldn't have met without being a part of PAC is very fulfilling.
